Private Lessons:

Basic Obedience and Good Manners Lessons: $125

These lessons are for puppies and dogs who have no previous training or for whom previous training has been unsuccessful. We’ll work on basic cues, addressing common puppy/dog concerns, like socialization, potty training, managing problems like puppy nipping/mouthing as well as preventing more serious behavioral issues.

Problem Solving and Behavior Modification Lessons: $135

These lessons are for puppies and dogs who are struggling with specific behavioral issues that are outside the realm of “normal” puppy/dog concerns, for example; leash reactivity, resource guarding and fearfullness. You’ll learn ways to manage, prevent and modify undesirable behavior, as well as learn basic obedience cues designed to tackle you and your pup’s specific needs.

Private 6 Week Basic Obedience and Good Manners Course: $600

During this course, we’ll work on learning fundamental, building block cues/behaviors, including eye contact and name recognition, “watch me”, “sit”, “down”, “stay”, “touch”, “come” and “leave it” and of course, a few fun tricks! We’ll address common puppy concerns like potty training and puppy nipping/mouthing, and address preventing some of the more common and serious behavioral issues like resource guarding and leash reactivity.

Walks:

Training Walks (currently available in West Loop only):

These walks are for puppies and dogs who need work on their on-leash manners, including loose leash walking, polite greetings and preventing or resolving leash reactivity. Your pup will enjoy a 30 minute, one-on-one walk with the trainer 3 – 5 days per week. Once per week, the owner will join the trainer and their pup on a walk to go over the new skills your pup has learned so you’ll be able to continue the build upon those skills on your own.

Relief and Exercise Walks (currently available in West Loop only):

Social dogs may be paired with one other dog for a fun, buddy walk. We do not offer pack walks.

60 Minutes: $40 (+$25 per additional dog in multi-dog homes. Limit 3 dogs.)
30 Minutes: $25 (+ $15 per additional dog in a multi-dog home. Limit 3 dogs.)

Boarding

Board and Train:

It can be hard for new pet parents to find time to train their new pup. A board and train can be a great way to help give you and your new furry family member a push in the right direction. It’s not magic, and you’ll still have lots and lots of work to do when your pup comes home, but I can help them learn the basics, from potty training to crate training to basic obedience and helping to prevent and/or effectively manage common behavioral issues. Call, text or email to see whether a board and train package is right for your pup!

Boarding:

When your pup stays at “Chateau LaMere”, they’ll get the benefit of the attention of both me and my dog-loving husband. They’ll have their own, private bedroom and can sleep in their crate if that is their preference, or have the run of the room and a nice, comfy bed all their own. This is a great option for dogs who like a quieter environment and aren’t so keen on a large-scale doggie daycare facility.
A 3 hour test run is required before booking to ensure your dog can safely and happily cohabitate with 2-year-old chihuahua called Guillermo, and a 19-year-old cat named Roxie, but called Doodle.

CGC Testing:

The Canine Good Citizen Test:

Any dog is eligible to take the test, regardless of previous training. For more info, or to request testing, please contact me!
